level design

I worked on the level design for Bugs N' Guns. From ideating the general pathing and 2D layout to prototyping experiences in-engine.

2d layout scheme

Having limited resources, we focused our efforts on making use of the stablished environments in as many different ways as possible, showing the players variations and propossing different gameplay moments in every section of the game. One of my biggest achievements regarding level design was to re-use existing zones in in later parts of the game, enlarging the experiece while mantaining low costs in other departments.

level composition and prototyping

Given my background and knowledge of art my approach to level design was to create stunning game moments, composing the space and pathing to ensure a lasting impression during cinematics and narrative moments in the game.
